Yesterday was the 6th Annual Toronto Santa Speedo Run at Yorkille. It was led by Head Santa Matt Freeman, who was followed by a bunch of scantily clad male and female Santas!
It may seem silly and sexy at first glance, but this group fund raises to help the Toys and Games Fund at the Hospital For Sick Children in Toronto.
We love this! You have the Best Santas ever, Toronto!
Would U run around in a speedo and santa hat to benefit sick children?

SAG Awards This Sunday: MTV News Has Got You Covered
In his breakout 2004 documentary "Super Size Me", filmmaker Morgan Spurlock attempted to show the world just how bad McDonald's is for you (particularly if you eat it all day, every day.) Now, Spurlock is going after all the big guns in his latest, "The Greatest Movie Ever Sold," an expose on the world of marketing, advertising and product placement.
Not so surprisingly, Spurlock couldn't get corporate sponsorship from many of the companies featured in the film (including his old friends at McDonald's.) Still, the ever-undeterred Spurlock sat down with MTV News at the 2011 Sundance Film Festival to talk about what it was like getting turned down by some big corporations and, despite all that, how he still managed to make a "docbuster."
Hilariously sporting an entirely corporate-sponsored jacket (Hyatt, JetBlue, and Pennsylvania's "greatest convenience store you'll ever stop in," Sheetz — which is providing collector cups for the movie's impending release — were game with Spurlock's vision), the director explained to MTV News that the three biggest sponsors of the project benefited from a commercial spot inserted within the movie itself. "It's the first time ever there's a film that has commercial breaks inside of it that, literally, are [woven] seamlessly into the movie."
But it seems one of the sponsors, POM Wonderful (which also appears on Spurlock's jacket) couldn't get on board with one of his ideas for their ad: to boast the fact that their product helps erectile dysfunction.
"We were pitching them commercials, one of which was talking about the fact that [POM] is 40% as effective as Viagra. So, in the film I'm talking about this stuff and I say that it will improve your erections. Then the camera pulls out a little more and there I am standing next to a giant erection and a POM bottle as I drink it," he says, adding, "They didn't like that idea."
Nevertheless, Spurlock and his crew still made the ad, about which he joked, "Luckily, I drank plenty of POM for that shoot"). He even toyed with the idea of putting it at the end of the movie, but ultimately had reservations about allowing that to be the last image he left in the mind of Sundance audiences. Yet when the initial pitch got a rousing reaction from the crowd at Saturday's screening, he thought, "Maybe we should have put that at the end of the movie!'"
If POM was a little hesitant, it was nothing compared to the responses he got from fast-food chains he tried to have in the "docbuster" (that's a documentary/blockbuster), including his old Big Mac-laden stomping grounds. "We tried," Spurlock said. "I called McDonald's, I called Burger King...not Subway, not even In-N-Out...White Castle...would be on board. But, no. Nobody wanted to play with us."
In fact, it wasn't just a simple "no" that Spurlock received from McDonald's; it was no response whatsoever. "They just didn't call back," he reveals. "The blow off was no returned phone call, ever."
Still, that wasn't even the harshest rejection Spurlock got while seeking sponsors. "The most memorable blow off, which is in the film, was Guess jeans. We were trying to find a clothing sponsor and [a Guess rep] said, 'No, no, no, no, we will never, ever put you on a billboard," he says with a laugh, "You know, it's like she was very clear that you are so not Guess jeans material."
Will you check out Morgan Spurlock's latest, "The Greatest Movie Ever Sold" when it hits theaters?

Oscar Reaction Wrap-Up: The Good, The Dull And The OMG-Totally-Over-It!
Yes, yesterday's Oscar nomination roll-out brought a fair amount of anger-inducing surprises. But it also delivered — predictably, soothingly — what we can always expect: a slew [...]
One doesn't typically equate fan boys and horror buffs with the Sundance crowd (heck, they've got Comic Con, after all). But when Rutger Hauer is in town, it's a different story.
The 67-year-old Dutch actor, perhaps best known for his roles in films like "Blade Runner" and the original version of "The Hitcher," came to Park City, Utah to screen his latest venture, an over-the-top gore fest called "Hobo With a Shotgun," much to the delight of movie fans with particularly off-kilter taste.
Hauer sat down with MTV News to discuss all the slaughter in the flick about a town gone very awry. "This is not that serious," Hauer said of the film's grindhouse-style violence. While he acknowledges the film's violence walks "a fine line," he argues that in the shock-value horror genre, "The buttons have already been pushed."
"It's a different story," he says of the film, adding, "It's not about limbs flying and how creatively you try and kill somebody."
In true camp-movie fashion, "Hobo" was screened at midnight last week to a raucous crowd that ate up every kill and cheesy line of dialogue. Even Hauer, who plays the film's vigilante — and the armed homeless dude of the title — couldn't help but get caught up in the madness of the event. He was having a blast, and was spotted filming the pre-screening hubbub with his own camera.
After the premiere, the star took questions from the audience, and as Hauer revealed to MTV, one theatergoer had a particularly stand-out query. "One kid asked me, 'I've always wanted to kill somebody, is a shotgun the right way to do it'?", to which Hauer initially responded, "Huh?!"
Then, in the true splatter-flick spirit, Hauer suggested, "Scissor hands. Why do it so quickly? Do it slowly, you know?"

Coming Soon To MTV UK: Geordie Shore
MTV is taking the Jersey Shore across the pond with a new series: Geordie Shore.
The show is set to film in Newcastle where, according to MTV UK's director of television Kerry Taylor, "it is always summer", "no one wears a coat" and "Geordie girls are always out in their miniskirt".
Sounds kinda tame to us!

Next Monday, Illinois' Gov. Pat Quinn will sign a new piece of legislation that will allow same-sex couples to enter into civil unions. The new law will allow gay and lesbian couples to use civil unions as a way to gain several of the same rights as married couples, including sharing a nursing home room to being involved in important end-of-life decisions.
Wonderful! A step in the right direction for sure!
For those of you in the Chicago area, go show your support for the Governor's efforts by attending the signing ceremony at the Chicago Cultural Center. It's open to the public, but you must RSVP with the governor's office.
Thank you, Governor Quinn! Equality for all!

Alanis Morissette Takes Son Ever Imre For A Walk
Last night, David and I decided to go to the movies and we chose the #1 movie in the country, The Roommate. Now, despite the questionable things we heard about the flick, I’ve been looking forward to this film ever since it went into production last year. Is The Roommate the best movie ever? No. But, it’s fun as Hell and deffo worth your time.
Chock full of cliches, you’d think that I would’ve hated this movie … but, to be honest, Leighton Meester‘s performance as a crazy stalker chick really makes this movie worth seeing. She is so over the top without actually being over the top annoying. I can’t even being to list the plot holes but, again, the movie really works because Meester is so much fun as the lead crazy chick. I couldn’t get over how similar Minka Kelly and Leighton Meester look in this film … they were perfectly cast. Pretty much everyone in the film comes from a CW TV show (Gossip Girl, 90210, The Vampire Diaries, Hellcats) so it kinda feels like a made for TV movie … but, I love me some cheesy popcorn movies and this is exactly that. We had fun, you may too.
No plans for tonight … just a quiet night in I think. Happy Hump Day :D

Gordon Keith Channels Zach Galifianakis... While Interviewing Zach Galifianakis
Gordon Keith's interview with Zach Galifianakis falls into the latter category. But beyond being [...]
Finally, finally, we're in the home stretch until the release of "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1." The penultimate film in the "Harry Potter" series will hit theaters one month from today, and to psyche us up Warner Bros. has gifted us with yet another "Potter" TV spot.
There's nothing in this minute-long teaser that we haven't seen before, but it's still enough to get us excited. After all, it contains the majority of the elements of the film we're most looking forward to. Bill Nighy as Rufus Scrimgeour? Check. Voldemort/Harry dichotomy? Check. Locket Horcrux being destroyed? Check.
Despite how much Warner Bros. has been showing in the trailers, we still can't wait to see the film as a whole. What the trailers and spots have been missing are actual interactions between the characters. Yes, we've seen plenty of action, drama and special effects, but the core of "Harry Potter" is the relationships between the characters we've come to know and love. Other than that awesome showdown between Ron and Harry and a couple George and Fred moments in the teasers, we haven't had a chance to see the way Voldemort's reign has personally affected the magical world, and that's why we're still counting down the days until "Part 1"'s release.
Are you excited for "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1" to hit theaters?

Chesser has created several websites where he's called for violence against Americans.
Most notably, he's called for violence against the South Park creators, as a response to the 200th episode of their cartoon, where they made perceived slights against Islam.
