Enjoy The View Of Joy Behar Star Jones Reuniting After Five Years
Um, awkward!
Five years ago, Star Jones took her leave from The View after a lot of shiz went down between her and Rosie and Barbra. Eh, but that's all in the past right?…Right?
Well, it was enough in the past that Star felt comfortable enough to stop by Joy Behar's show last night to talk about [...]

Kevin Federline Victoria Prince Show Off Their Baby Bump
Yesterday was a nice and very quiet day for David and me. I spent most of my late afternoon/evening reading and David spent his running around taking care of errands. We did leave the house for a bit last night to get a couple drinks and just hang out and ended up at one of our fave spots, The Hudson. Unfortunately, we were hoping for a quiet Monday night out … but we ended up being smack dab in the middle of a raucous crowd watching the NCAA Men’s Basketball Final.
The only seating open in the bar was underneath the big screen TV … so all the screaming bros were pointed at us. Their cheering and jeering was a bit disconcerting but it really didn’t take away from our hang out session. We managed to sneak off and find privacy in the photobooth for a bit, which was a nice way to end our night out. Oh and congrats to The University of Connecticut for their win last night … even if the game was kinda terrible.
No plans for tonight. I’m certain David and I will get out of the house eventually for food or something but as it stands, we don’t have anything on the books. Ah, it’s nice to have nothing to do … let me tell you ;)

Victoria Beckham Loses Her Cool While Parenting Her Kiddies
After our fun-filled day by the beach, Darion, his mom, David and I made our way to the AMC Theater at Century City to see Source Code. Now, I’ve had mixed feelings about the film from the very first time I saw the trailer a few months ago. On the one hand, the trailer didn’t make the film look all that good … on other hand, well, Jake Gyllenhaal is in it so …. you can see how I was torn. When I learned that Duncan Jones (David Bowie‘s son) directed it, I was sold. Overall, I liked Source Code very much … tho, for me, the ending left much to be desired.
I’ve heard some people say that Source Code reminds them of Inception and while I can see how some people can make that connection, I totally do not think the movies are all that similar. The storylines are totally different and there really isn’t all that much overlap thematically. In Source Code, we are are taken on a journey that tries to make us understand the concept of alternate realities and for the most part, I was on board with what the movie was trying to say … but the ending, I’m sorry, no I just didn’t buy it. I’ve watched my fair share of sci-fi programming that has given me a “working knowledge” of time travel, alternate realities, other dimensions etc. (and by “working knowledge” I mean, I’ve come to believe in a set of fictional rules that seem feasible to me if time travel, alternate realities, etc. actually existed). The ending of Source Code just did not work for me in the framework of my “working knowledge” of sci-fi temporal travel so … yeah, no, I didn’t like the ending. The rest of the movie, tho, I thought was inventive and entertaining. As much as I love Jakey poo, I felt he overacted a bit in some scenes but not enough to turn me off entirely. The support cast was fine but they were like background wallpaper … none of them really added anything to the story that stood out for me. I wish Source Code wasn’t a PG-13 film because the action felt a bit watered down. But, again, the inventiveness of the story, the twists and turns and overall plotline really entertained me. I don’t expect this film will do gangbusters at the box office but it’s worth seeing. If you miss it in theaters, you’ll be just fine seeing it on DVD or on cable.
Did any of y’all see Source Code this weekend? What did you think?

Amanda Seyfriend Ryan Phillippe Jet Off To Paris Together
Yesterday afternoon David and I got to hang out with our dear friends Emma and Josh for lunch and arts & crafts … for real. We met up with the dynamic duo at Fred Segal for late lunch and then came back to our place to paint figurines that Josh picked out for us. Afterward, we made our way to The Abbey to celebrate Daron’s mom’s birthday with an impromptu costume fete. To say we had the best day ever would be an EXTREME understatement. Check out the fun photos below.
First up, here are some photos from our afternoon of arts & crafts:
To be honest, we all kinda gave Josh a hard time when he said he planned for us to do “arts & crafts” but by the time we were done, with marker stains on all of our hands, we had to admit that we had fun :)
Then it was time to party with Darion’s mom. Janai is truly one of my most favorite people on Earth! To party with her means you WILL have more fun that you ever thought imaginable. Each year, she tends to outdo the birthday party from the year before … and this year was no exception. We basically turned The Abbey into a costume shop … and an amazingly fun time was had by all:
This is but a small taste of the fun we had last night. I hope you’ll join me in sending all the Birthday Lurve we can muster for Darion’s mom today. She is a fabulous woman, one who is worthy of celebrating every day of the year.
This afternoon, David and I are meeting up with Darion and his mom for a more intimate lunch/hang-out session and then mebbe a movie later. I hope your weekend is going well … Happy Sunday!!

Franco Letterman Argue Over Who Sucks More…At Oscar Hosting!
We know who we'd pick…but let's hear them out all the same!
Last night, James Franco was on The Late Show and he got into a rousing argument with David Letterman over who was the worst host of the Oscars - him or David!
David said himself, but James argued his own case.
Check out the video (above) [...]
Apparently, they want their money back…now!
Mimran Schur Pictures, led by David Mimran and Jordan Schur, filed a lawsuit yesterday against Nu Image and Millennium Films because their flick Stone, starring Robert DeNiro, returned little to no profit, none of which they saw a penny of.
Welcome to independent film making!
The story goes that the newbie film financing company put up nearly $6 million in 2010 to bankroll this film. They believed in it that much and they assumed they would make that money back and then some. Unfortunately, the movie bombed on top of being sold to distributors for a less than desirable sum. Besides that, these guys were way down the list on getting their money back. First, the producers had to pay their loan back to Comericia Bank. Then, they had to pay their international sales agent 5% commission. But after that was all squared away, they would get taken care off.
But they day hasn't and probably won't ever come, so now, instead of waiting, they're suing for their investment back…and then some, claiming they were duped into the thinking the foreign distribution sale would more than make up their initial investment.
Sorry guys, but that is just how the Hollywood cookie crumbles. Your money is gone and if the movie didn't do well, its unlikely that they have that kind of dough to give anyway! Whoops!
